John Chantler (Room40, Touch, Piehead etc)’s Edition Festival in Stockholm has been pushing the envelope for experimental music since 2016. In line with this thesis this book provides extended essays and interviews with artists frequently performing at the festival such as Elian Radigue, Terre Thaemlitz, Annea Lockwood, Sarah Hennies, Francois Bayle, John Chantler himself, and many more. Also included are incredible photographs from Peter Brötzmann, Sarah Davachi, Ellen Fullman, Joe McPhee and much more.
