Jodey Kendrick - also known as Numerology Songs, Black Narcissus, Black Orpheus and a glut of other names - drops the second volume of his EDM album run through the Clone Dub Series. On this record we find Kendrick showing off what he learned from his stint on Rephlex Records a few years back. EDM Vol.2 contains eleven tracks that run the full gauntlet of the label’s classic sound. Across the record Kendrick leads us down a number of sonic pathways, from zany breakcore to delicate AFX-esque electro to hyperactive IDM that sounds as if it was made on a short-circuiting sequencer.
